Give a new lease of life to a pre-loved piece of furniture in this fun and creative full-day up-cycling workshop. Perfect for beginners, this hands-on session will guide you through painting, stencilling, and decoupage techniques, leaving you with a unique, beautifully finished piece to be proud of.
In a small group of no more than eight, you’ll receive plenty of guidance and encouragement as you learn step-by-step how to prepare, paint, and decorate your furniture.
What you’ll do
Morning session: Preparation and painting. Learn how to clean, sand, and prime your item before exploring different painting techniques using brushes and rollers. You’ll have the option to create a sleek finish or a distressed, shabby-chic look.
Afternoon session: Decorative effects. Try out stencilling and decoupage with napkins, wallpaper, or fabric, then choose your favourite to transform your piece into a true statement item.
What to bring:
✨ A small, unpainted wooden item (e.g. an occasional table, stool, chair, or box). Please avoid bringing something too large or intricate, as you may not finish it in the day.
✨ Any wallpaper, fabric (not too heavy), napkins or specific paint colour you want to use.
✨ Clothing you don’t mind getting a little messy.

✨ A wide range of paints (with the option to bring your own quality emulsion if you’d like a perfect match for your home)
